Lingfield 1st Team v Epsom and Ewell FC

This match had goals written all over it however it wasn't in favour of The Lingers as 4 goals killed the game for The Lingers and any sight of winning was fading away along with the light as the fixture was played without any floodlights.

Our focus and passion remained throughout the 90mins and every player want to win the game however it wasn't meant to be for The Linger who went home without a goal, it wasn't through not making changes as we had 6 clear chances to score in the first half.

Pre-season for us is about lessons learnt which tests the characters of each and every player from those that look at the positives to those that look for opportunities to improve to those that look towards other to blame......
