What happened in Hurst Green on Saturday evening has affected our local football community as those involved are connected to Lingfield FC, Crawley Down Gatwick FC and Oakwood FC. The SCFL has agreed to a request from Crawley Down Gatwick FC to postpone this Saturday's fixture between our two clubs and we fully support that decision. Our two neighbouring clubs have issued the joint statement below and we at Lingfield FC offer our condolences to both clubs and to all those affected by this tragedy.
