There was excellent support for our win in the First Round match at Greenways FC in Ditton, Kent. So please come along to our 23/24 season home at Horley Town this Sunday and support The Lingers in our Second Round match against Tunbridge Wells FC. This is our fourth match in this season’s FA Vase and our fourth match against opposition from the Southern Counties East Football League – two teams from the First Division and this will be a second team from the Premier Division.

Tunbridge Well are currently 12th in their league and lost at Lordswood FC last Saturday giving them a record in the league since September of LDWL. Their two recent cup games have been against familiar names. In the Kent Senior Trophy, they lost at Whitstable Town but were successful on their visit to Little Common in the First Round of the FA Vase.

This is the second time in Lingfield’s history that we have played in the Second Round. The first was during our best run in the competition that came in the 2014/15 season where we made the Third Round. So, while if we reach the Third Round it would not be a first, it will see the club making history by giving us a fifth match in a season’s competition, so cheer the lads on!!!
