SEAN Tuesley is the latest name to have been announced in the Lingfield Under 15s coaching revolution set up.

Lingers pulled off a major coup recently by signing successful ex-U18s’ manager Bobby Bryce as their boss for next season.

In an unexpected move, Bryce has remained with the Godstone Road club after stepping down at the end of this season having guided Lingers’ U18s to runners-up spot in the Southern Youth League South Division, being succeeded by his assistant Bobby Clements.

Bryce said: “My Under 18s manager from my first year at Lingfield in the Southern Youth League, Sean Tuesley, and from Three Bridges U16s, will assist with our summer coaching at Lingfield U15s.

“I have won trophies and county cups at U16, U17 and U18 age groups and will be helped by Sean and also by Scott Millar as team and goalkeeping coach.”

Millar, a highly-rated young goalkeeper, starred for Lingfield’s first team in Sussex County League Division One in the second half of last term, while impressing all season for the youth team.

Bryce said: “I will also be assisted by a young, hungry and keen to learn coach, Scott Millar, who was outstanding as Lingfield U18s’ keeper this season and who is taking his Football Association badges this summer.

“Anyone interested in joining us could be a part of a squad that will be coached to a very high level of technique and match play. As well as us finishing in runners-up spot in the very competitive SYL, I have also won the Sussex U16 County Cup and the U17 Tandridge A League as manager and coach.

“Now we require good players to learn the game and join a brand new U15s squad.”

Bryce steered Lingfield U18s from bottom of the SYL to top spot for the majority of the season before being overtaken by classy Crowborough Athletic in the run-in. He made a major impact on the club during his two terms in charge and produced an entire team of U18s who progressed to play for Dixie Dean’s Lingfield senior squad.
