Our first season having made the transition to 9-a-side with bigger pitches, bigger goals and the off-side rule to contend with but we have had a enjoyable time. Once again the weather tried very hard to ruin our league schedule but after numerous emails and phone calls we managed to get all but one of the league fixtures completed. Our league match results were a mixed bag but we ended the season having won or drawn just under half the league matches we played. Post Christmas we entered out first League Cup competition but we had a very, very tough draw and lost our 3 qualifying matches so didn’t progress. We have though had fun and look forward to next season where we reach the competitive level with published league tables!
