Playing for the first time in a month, Lingfield fell behind early on at Greatness Park, with Andy Constable opening the scoring for the hosts.
But they held their own for the rest of the half and it wasn't until the hour mark that Sevenoaks doubled their lead through Richmond Kissi.
Adam Burchell made it 3-0 midway through the second half, and although Jake Davey reduced the deficit three minutes later, Burchell was on target again soon after to make it 4-1.
Two further goals from Danny Hockton made it 6-1 to the hosts, before Simon Wallace pulled a consolation goal back four minutes from time.
But it was not enough to prevent Lingfield from falling to a 6-2 defeat, which leaves them bottom of the Southern Counties East League.
